More than a dozen specialists and 研究ers from the 约翰一. 莫兰眼科中心 at the University of Utah will be traveling to Chicago this week to share their expertise with colleagues from around the country at the 年度会议 of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).
The conference, running Oct. 27-30 and highlighting the latest in technology and ophthalmic advances, will include more than 50 symposia and 350 courses in topics from cataracts to 愿景 rehabilitation, 原始文件, scientific posters and panel discussions, and networking opportunities.
At a reception 周日,10月. 28, Moran CEO Randall J Olson, MD, and Vice Chair of Education 杰夫·佩蒂，医学博士, will present Julia Shulman, MD, with the 2018 Moran Distinguished Alumni Award. Shulman, a board certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon at 纽约的视网膜, completed her residency in ophthalmology at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where she was chief resident. She completed her retina fellowship at the 莫兰眼科中心.
